The Missouri Educator Gateway Assessments are no longer being administered.

This assessment includes two subtests. Examinees must pass both subtests.

Format	Computer-based test (CBT) and online-proctored test Subtest I – Mathematics and Science: 80 multiple-choice questions Subtest II – English Language Arts and Social Studies: 80 multiple-choice questions
Time	Computer-Based Testing CBT tutorial and nondisclosure agreement: 15 minutes to complete Single subtest: 2 hours testing time Both subtests: 4 hours testing time* *Examinees taking both subtests in a single test session will receive a 15-minute break.	Online Proctoring Tutorial and nondisclosure agreement: 15 minutes to complete Subtest I: 2 hours testing time Subtest II: 2 hours testing time Subtests are administered in separate testing sessions; therefore, examinees must register for each subtest separately.
Breaks	Computer-Based Testing One subtest in a single test session: You may take restroom breaks during testing. Time taken for breaks is considered part of the available testing time. Both subtests in a single test session: You will receive a 15-minute break between subtests.	Online Proctoring Subtest I: No breaks are allowed. Subtest II: No breaks are allowed.
Test Dates	Test appointments are no longer available.
Passing Score	220 per subtest; examinees must pass both subtests
