MoGEA (066–069) Testing Requirements Update
Effective immediately, in cases in which teacher candidates use scores from the Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA) to meet criteria for admission into an educator preparation program (EPP), EPPs are no longer required to collect a score on the Science and Social Studies subtest (069). This action is intended to streamline the admission process while also ensuring that policy remains in compliance with section 168.400 of Title XI in Missouri Statute , which simply requires "an examination of basic oral and written communication skills and of basic mathematics skills".
Since the Science and Social Studies subtest (069) is no longer a testing requirement for EPP admission, you may elect to skip the subtest if you registered to take all four subtests in one test session. To skip this subtest during your test session, navigate to the first question, then click on the Test Review feature on the bottom right corner of the screen. Once the feature is enabled, select the last question, then click Next to end the subtest.
