- All 4 subtests: 4 1/2 hours testing time, plus a 15-minute break between subtests 2 and 3

Breaks |
Internet-Based Testing
You may take restroom breaks during testing. Time taken for unscheduled breaks is considered part of the available testing time.
Note: If you are taking all 4 subtests in a single test session, you will receive a 15-minute scheduled break between subtests 2 and 3.

Passing Score |
Passing scores are set by Missouri educator preparation programs; examinees must pass the Reading Comprehension and Interpretation, Mathematics, and Writing subtests. Passing the Science and Social Studies subtest is no longer required for program admission.

Test Fee |
$59 for all four subtests (for internet-based testing only), or $25 for a single subtest
Candidates taking the internet-based test may only register for the four-subtest option one time. Note that this option is not available to candidates taking the online-proctored test.
