MoGEA Pilot Test

Participate in a General Education: Writing Subtest pilot test!

Don't miss this opportunity to preview questions that will appear on future Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA) Writing Subtests. If you are enrolled in or seeking entry into a teacher education program, you are eligible to participate in pilot testing for the General Education: Writing Subtest.

The General Education: Writing Subtest pilot test will be available January 26–February 7, 2015, at participating institutions across the state.

Why should I participate?

• As a participant in the pilot testing, you will receive a test voucher that can be applied to a $49 MoGEA test or a $77 Missouri Educator Gateway Assessments (MEGA) Content Assessment for each completed test form*. You may take up to TWO test forms. There is no sitting fee to participate.
• You will have the opportunity to have a "first look" at questions that may be included on future MoGEA tests.

How long will it take?

• The pilot test will take approximately 1½ to 2 hours to complete.

Who is eligible to participate?

• Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors enrolled in or seeking entry into teacher education programs are eligible to take a pilot test. (Faculty members are NOT eligible to take pilot tests for the MEGA program.)

* Test vouchers are nonrefundable and fully expended upon use (i.e., no credit or refund will be issued if you choose to use the voucher for a MoGEA test.)
